Dr. Cindy Eward
Dr. Cindy Eward has been a fixture of the Triangle veterinary community for over 15 years. She obtained her veterinary degree at the Ontario Veterinary College in Canada in 1996. This was followed by a rigorous internship, also at the OVC, and then a residency in small animal surgery at Auburn University (1997-2000). After completing her surgical training, Dr. Eward spent time on faculty at the Ontario Veterinary College and Auburn University as a small animal surgeon. Travels for her husband’s schooling led to work at a specialty hospital in Burlington, Vermont before moving to Durham, NC. Since her arrival in the state she has worked at multi-specialty referral hospitals in the region. She currently lives with her husband, Will, and their three children in North Durham. Their home and land is shared with dogs, cats, reptiles, sheep, horses, and plenty of chickens.
